Partnership of the angel investment association with Sebrae initiative aims to benefit innovative businesses from different segments, already in operation or in the pre-operational phase
Selected startups will be known during the Startup Summit 2023, which takes place from the 23rd to the 25th of August, in Florianópolis (SC)
The angel investment group BR Angels signed a partnership with the program Capital Entrepreneur, from Sebrae, which enables startups and innovative businesses to access the investment market. The purpose of the union is to promote a special selection process so that companies participating in the project can receive financial resources of up to R＄ 3 million. Between 5 and 10 ventures from the most diverse sectors will be contemplated, already in operation or in the pre-operational phase, with different checks, depending on the number of selected startups and the business model of each one.
In all, the process has five stages, which include the registration of interested startups on this link, presentation of the pitch and the selection phases, which will have the participation of more than 260 BR Angels associates, all entrepreneurs and top executives of important national and multinational companies, who also invest intellectual resources and open doors in the market for new businesses.

The startups that are part of the project already have their quality attested just by being there, so this is already a great filter, which brings confidence and reduces investment risks. Another important point for BR Angels is that the program is not limited to the main capitals of the country. It covers the entire national territory and this brings the opportunity to encourage innovative companies from outside the large centers, expanding access to investments”, declares the founder and CEO of BR Angels, Orlando Cintra.

Presenting the business to such a qualified group of investors will only bring gains for the entrepreneurs who sign up”, says the national coordinator of the Sebrae Capital Entrepreneur Program, Maria Auxiliadora Umbelino.
The startups chosen to receive funding will be announced during the Startup Summit 2023, one of the main conferences in the Brazilian market and the biggest event of the Sebrae System in the country. The event takes place between August 23 and 25, in Florianópolis – Santa Catarina.
