Over the next two years, R$ 20 million will be invested in trade promotion actions abroad

The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil) and Softex announce the renewal for the 2022-2024 biennium of the Brasil IT+ Sector Project agreement, the largest and most comprehensive competitive internationalization plan for software developers and service providers already implemented in the country.

Over the next two years, R$ 20 million will be invested in overseas trade promotion. The project's priority target markets are the United States, Canada, England, Portugal, Spain, Colombia and Chile.

In this new cycle, participating companies will have the opportunity to undergo an international maturity analysis for the development of customized actions and to participate in strategic activities to support internationalization.

Structuring actions will be offered focused on training and commercial intelligence, in addition to support for the presence in the largest technology events in the world with a focus on prospecting and doing business with subsidized values.

Other benefits offered to associates are prior access to qualified information on target markets, product validation and connection with potential customers and partners abroad, virtual bootcamps, business roundtables and online and virtual international missions.

For Diônes Lima, Executive Vice President of Softex, “our proposal is to outline the best internationalization journey according to the profile of each company and its target market, as well as through a commercial intelligence pack involving a structuring action , such as qualification or training, integrated by fair, trade mission and market analysis, thus providing a 360° internationalization and a much more assertive experience”.

Started in 2005, the Brasil IT+ Sectorial Project aims to generate new business opportunities in the international market for the participating Brazilian companies, increase the volume of exports, increase the exposure of the Brazilian IT industry and strengthen the image of Brazil as a world center of excellence in the sector.

Over the last 17 years, the Brasil IT+ Sectorial Project has involved more than 640 companies interested in expanding their operations beyond national borders. The turnover generated by the companies adhering to the Project reached US$ 421 million in 2021.
