New apps in the Creative Cloud package bring AI, HDR support and tools for greater agility and quality in audiovisual productions
2025 is off to a great start for creatives using the Adobe Creative Cloud platform. In January alone, Adobe has already announced two updates to Photoshop and is now introducing new features for the apps. After Effects and Premiere Pro. New features include automatic subtitle translation in Premiere and HDR image support in After Effects.
Vitor Gomes, senior product marketing manager at Adobe, emphasizes that with the new features, program users will be able to increase productivity. “This set of updates brings several benefits such as time savings, agility and performance, especially for those who work with high definition,” he comments.

Premiere Smart Search Panel
With the new Media Intelligence and Search panel (beta), which uses AI, professionals will be able to automatically identify objects, locations and details in their recordings. One of the main benefits is the ability to quickly locate the best clips, saving time on searching and allowing greater focus on creating the narrative.
Automatic subtitle translation in Premiere Pro (Beta)
The new feature will enable automated subtitle generation in 18 languages. This was a frequently requested feature from the community and will now bring more fluidity to the workflow.
Playing and storing files in After Effects
This more technical update makes the program and the computer used faster. With the Expanded Comp Playback feature in After Effects, it will be possible to play files faster. The system stores the files in a cache directly on the hard drive and saves RAM. With these adjustments, the professional can focus on the creative part without worrying about technical limitations.
HDR image support in After Effects
This new feature will change the workflow for creators who only work with high definition. With the feature, it will be possible to import, view and export in HDR in PQ or HLG formats. In After Effects, this is the first time that the workflow will be in HDR from start to finish.
All updates are now available in the apps and ready to use.
