There's news for startups with innovative solutions and ABES associates: registration is now open for the ABES Pitch Challenge 2024. This initiative, promoted by ABES, aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship by offering a platform for startups to present their solutions and network with investors, entrepreneurs and technology leaders. This initiative is supported by the Startups Committee, led by Cassio Spina and Eduardo Felipe Matias. “This event represents an excellent opportunity for startups seeking visibility to accelerate their growth. Criteria for participation in the ABES Pitch Challenge 2024
To participate, startups must meet the following criteria:
– Annual revenue of up to R$4.8 million;
– CNPJ registered for a maximum of 5 years;
– Participation in incubation, acceleration, investment fund programs, or having received funding from accredited agencies or innovation awards in the last 5 years.

Registration is open from September 18, 2024 The October 1, 2024. It is important to pay attention to the deadline, as applications after this date will not be accepted.

How to participate
Interested parties must submit a Pitch Deck in the form of a video of up to 3 minutes or in presentation format (PowerPoint) with up to 10 slides. The content must be clear and concise, addressing the following aspects:
– Problem;
- Solution;
– Target market;
– Innovation;
– Traction;
– Business model.
Assessment
The Evaluation Panel will be composed of five experts appointed by ABES, recognized for their extensive knowledge in the startup ecosystem. They will consider the following criteria for evaluation:
– Adherence of the solution to the challenge proposed by ABES;
– Degree of innovation in relation to current solutions on the market;
– Scalability potential of the solution;
– Viability and feasibility of the project;
– Profile of the founding team and their market experience;
– Potential for attracting investments and financial returns;
– Alignment with one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
– Positive socio-environmental impact of the solution.
Selection and presentation
After the registration period ends, the Evaluation Board will select the 5 best startups based on the established criteria. The presentations of these finalists, the final evaluation and the announcement of the winners will take place during the ABES Summit, on October 30, 2024, at the JW Marriott Hotel, in São Paulo (Av. das Nações Unidas, 14401, Chácara Santo Antônio).
