Hungarian multinational's BIM mobility tool accelerates field decisions and strengthens digital adoption in the construction sector

Benazzi Engenharia, a design, consulting, and engineering and project management services company based in Londrina, Paraná, sought to implement a solution to one of the main challenges in civil construction: the difficulty of communication between design offices and teams on site.
The company relied on Graphisoft's support to implement the BIM (Building Information Modeling) concept. It's a smart, digital way to plan, design, construct, and manage buildings. Instead of paper blueprints, BIM uses 3D models that capture all project information, such as materials, dimensions, deadlines, and costs. This facilitates collaboration between architects, engineers, and builders at every stage of the project.
It was through this established practice in the AEC segment that Benazzi implemented BIMx, a mobility solution from Graphisoft – a Hungarian multinational considered a global benchmark in BIM solutions for multidisciplinary projects. The goal was to make construction sites smarter and more connected, benefiting the planning and execution of projects in industrial, commercial, and residential projects. The use of BIM, which allows users to navigate 3D and 2D BIM projects directly from their mobile phone or tablet, has accelerated decision-making in the field and reduced rework, as part of a strategy focused on the sector's digital transformation.

According to the company, the adoption of BIMx has also contributed to the formation of a new digital culture among employees, fostering learning and integration between different technical specialties.
The Benazzi development project is among Graphisoft's case studies that aim to highlight real-world experiences of applying the technology at different scales and contexts in the AEC sector.
