According to research “State Of The Global Workplace” 46% of Brazilian workers are stressed, 25% are sad and 18% are angry. These numbers are a reflection of the current corporate scenario, in which fierce competition and technological innovations have been transforming the market by leaps and bounds, impacting the quality of life and work of professionals. In this sense, people management stands out as one of the main differentiators to reverse these numbers and bring success to organizations.

To this end, the expression “people at the center” cannot be just jargon, but rather a philosophy that, when applied consistently, allows a company to position itself among the best in the country, in terms of performance and quality of life. But what does it really mean to put people as a priority in the business and how to do this effectively? First, there is the connection between Employee Experience and High Performance Culture, which leads to the best customer experience.

This happens because when companies invest in the appreciation and well-being of their employees, promoting a work environment that stimulates performance, employees become more engaged, motivated and productive. In addition, the improvement in the organizational climate directly reflects on the way employees interact with customers, resulting in more empathetic, efficient and personalized service.

Thus, by aligning the employee experience with the organization's own culture, companies not only strengthen their team, but also prioritize excellence and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, creating a virtuous cycle of success and sustainable growth.

Communication, training and diversity

One of the secrets to achieving excellence in people management is open communication and the execution of a strategic plan for employees in which results can be measured. Companies that cultivate a culture of transparency and active dialogue not only improve employee engagement, but also favor talent retention, since when employees feel heard and valued, they tend to demonstrate greater commitment and productivity.

No less important, investing in education and training is one of the most effective ways to keep the company competitive in the market and ensure it is always one step ahead. To this end, training programs and ongoing training can be important to improve employees’ skills and foster a fertile environment for their personal and professional growth.

Another aspect to be highlighted is the appreciation of diversity and inclusion. Companies that embrace diversity in their teams promote a fairer environment and gain breadth in perspectives and ideas, since it stimulates essential elements for adaptation and survival in markets that are constantly changing.

Humanized leadership

To ensure successful results, it is essential that leaders inspire, motivate and support their teams, creating a positive work environment. They must be seen as facilitators and focus on developing people and building strong relationships within the organization. When leaders adopt a humanized approach, they increase employee satisfaction and, consequently, team performance.

In this context, recognizing that people are an organization's most valuable asset is fundamental. Although the use of technology is essential, it is the employees who bring the creativity, innovation and adaptability necessary to face the challenges of the market.

In short, positioning a company among the best in the country requires a genuine commitment to people management. After all, placing people at the center of strategic decisions is not an option; it is what ultimately makes the difference.
