This is already the group's eighth acquisition, which plans to surpass the barrier of R$ 760 million in revenue this year and become the largest MultiSaaS platform in the country
The Softplan Group, one of the largest SaaS and digital transformation business ecosystems in the country, has just announced its eighth acquisition and the first this year: Prevision, a construction company from Santa Catarina and a leading platform in the application of Lean Construction to generate efficiency, assertiveness and predictability in the Construction Industry. The purchase is part of the company's growth plan in this segment, which today is led by Sienge, the group's software that becomes the management platform with the widest coverage of the country's construction chain.
Contradicting the market and most technology companies, which have been slowing down in recent times, this movement further boosts the company's growth strategy, which plans to earn more than R$ 760 million this year and make new acquisitions. Last year, Softplan had a turnover of R$ 586 million, recording a growth of 37% compared to the year 2021, when it stood at R$428 million. The Construction Industry segment, led by Sienge, is the one that is expected to register the greatest growth, rising from R$121 million last year, to a forecast of R$ 180 million in gross revenue in 2023.
Prevision has been operating in the market for 5 years and is headquartered in Florianópolis, where Softplan is also headquartered. During this time, it has already conquered more than 250 clients and optimized more than 2,500 works, operating in 110 cities in 21 states of the country. The great differential of the software is that the schedule Lean, made in Line of Balance, connected to the budget, it allows the vision of the best scenario of evolution of all the works in a single screen. In the last year, construtech grew by 80%, with a forecast to grow more than 50% this year.
According to the CEO of the Softplan Group, Eduardo Smith, in addition to this acquisition, the company has other negotiations under way in the market with the aim of accelerating the process of inorganic growth. “We are accelerating our growth through acquisitions to complement our offer and improve the results of our clients, as in the case of Prevision, which has a lot of adherence with Sienge. We have been successful in integrating the various acquired companies, bringing great products and teams to our group, which has been consolidating our position as one of the leading companies in the software segment in Brazil”, stated Smith.
For the Executive Director of Softplan's Construction Industry Unit, Ionan Fernandes, the focus with this new acquisition is digitalization at the construction site, ensuring more operational efficiency and predictability for construction companies, which translates into more quality in construction for society. property structure and on-time deliveries.
“Prevision arrives to fluidly connect our proposal to integrate the construction chain from end to end. Considering Softplan's portfolio of products for the Construction Industry, we will now offer the widest coverage of the chain, covering pre-construction, construction and post-construction work, from budgeting, quotation and ordering of inputs to planning, forecasting and property sales, in addition to all the financial and engineering management throughout the execution of the projects”, he highlighted.

Group intends to be the largest 'MultiSaaS' platform in the country
Currently, the Softplan Group has more than 11,000 customers and 2,500 employees and positions itself as a company specializing in SaaS business management and Digital Transformation. According to the CEO, the group intends to become the largest ecosystem of MultiSaaS solutions in the country, a reference in the management and performance of businesses with recurring revenue, as well as in the integration and generation of value between the acquired companies.
Softplan's MultiSaaS area alone earned R$ 249 million in 2022, 88% more than in 2021. And the growth forecast remains optimistic for this year, aiming to reach more than R$ 420 million. Much of this growth is due to the acquisitions made by the group in recent years.
“We grew strongly in all SaaS businesses, always above 30%, whether in construction, private legal or efficiency and productivity. Approximately 42% of our revenue already comes from MultiSaaS and the expectation is that this representativeness will increase even more, without ceasing to invest and grow our business with the public sector as well”, informed Smith.
For this year, the perspective is that all the companies acquired by the group continue to grow by an average of 30%, in addition to reaching revenues of R$ 760 million.
